Whispering Woods
Located just outside of Grand Rapids, to the northeast. Is a wooded area
known as "The Whispering Woods". If you follow the trail deep into the heart
of the woods, you'll come upon a clearing. According to indian legend - If you
are standing in this clearing, at night. You will hear your name whispered in
your ear by the spirit of one of your ancestors.

We decided to check this place out, so we headed out there on a cold night in March.
We located the clearing, stood and froze for about 2 hours......No names whispered in our ears.
Apparanty our ancestors were being anti-social this night. Still, this place is very dark and creepy.
You do get an "Ooogy Boogy" feeling walking in. It would definately be a place to take your
girlfriend after watching a scarey movie, you know to scare the crap out of her..Cuz, well, that's
just plain fun. :)

We did however capture an anomoly in one of the pics taken. It appears to be moving. Perhaps it
was a bug.......Perhaps it wasn't. Hmmmmm................

UPDATE: This unique place is no longer exists, the area
has been leveled and new construction is going up all over.
